New project published on harmonic analysis for a mining and metallurgical facility

A new ACCAD project case has been published on harmonic analysis for a mining and metallurgical facility. The publication shows how power quality risks can be assessed even when the available input data on harmonic spectra is limited.

The case presents:

• harmonic distortion and resonance studies;
• analysis of several possible harmonic spectrum scenarios;
• verification against applicable power quality requirements;
• engineering measures to keep network parameters within acceptable limits.
