New project published on power system stability for a petrochemical facility

We have published a new ACCAD project case on power system stability for a petrochemical facility. The case shows how a combination of studies can be used to identify the causes of instability, reduce production shutdown risks, and support stable operation of critical equipment.

The publication includes:

• load flow, short circuit, and transient analysis;
• harmonic assessment and motor starting studies;
• review of the most severe operating scenarios;
• engineering recommendations to improve stability of the power supply system.
